Keswick United Church at 177 Church Street, is centrally located within the community of Keswick, the largest of the urban communities in the Town of Georgina.

Keswick remains unique to this day as a commuter homestead, with a number of shopping areas and attractions snaking along the southern shoreline of Lake Simcoe as well as bordering on a large agricultural area. There are many recreational opportunities in this area of northern York Region;  many public parks, beaches, forests, nature reserves and a large Provincial park, Sibbald Point Park, which draws thousands of visitors to the southern shores of Lake Simcoe each year.
The Community has many music and craft festivals each year and until this summer professional theatre at the historic Red Barn Theatre location. Unfortunately a fire destroyed the Barn this spring, but the spirit lives on with productions moved to the Stephen Leacock Theatre in central Keswick until decisions on a new facility reach fruition.
Other Community features are an excellent Public Library System in addition to many outdoor sports facilities, seniors centres, community centres, arenas and an indoor pool.
Recent Federal and Provincial grant approvals made the ” GEORGINA ROC” -a major recreational facility constructed at the Georgina Civic Centre – a reality, which expanded the “4” season recreational opportunities for local residents even further.
